Annual Crab Feast

Come out and join us this Thursday, August 8th for our yearly crab feast.  The buffet will feature Maryland style crab soup, fried chicken, a variety of shellfish, local produce, and freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs.  The full menu can be found in the Upcoming Events section.

Mid-Summer

Well it's that time of year again.  The Men's Invitational Tournament in is full swing.  The Food & Beverage team is working hard to make sure food, refreshments and entertainment will be on par with the fantastic job that the Grounds Crew has done with the course and the Golf Shop Team has done with the organization of the tournament and prizes.

This time of year also means the return of two of our favorite seasonal ingredients, local sweet corn & local heirloom tomatoes.  So our "summer wedge" salad and our "tomato & mozzarella" salad have made their annual return to the menu.  Get them while you can, as the season never lasts as long as we'd like it to.  We also have a couple of new sandwiches for you to try and we'll roll out a new lobster entree next week.

Our annual Luau Buffet is next week as well.  Check the Upcoming Events section for the menu, full of traditional Hawaiian recipes.  Hope to see you soon!

Summer Events

With the official start of summer arriving this past Friday, I just wanted to highlight a few of seasonal food & beverage events.  This Wednesday 6/26, we'll be having a featured wine night.  Come out and sample two great wines from Bouchaine.  We'll be pouring the 2012 Rockin' H Rose of Syrah along with the 2010 Sonoma Coast Rockin' H Syrah.  Our dinner specials for the evening will be crafted to pair wonderfully with the featured wines.  These nights are very popular, so reserve your table asap. 302-474-3005

Father's Day

Good times for a good cause

The "Taste of the Nation" event at Harry's Savoy was a huge success!  They raised over $85,000 benefiting The Food Bank of Delaware, Ministry of Caring, and the Claymont Community Center.  Here is a photo of the hors d'oeuvre I prepared and a group shot of the other chefs involved.  Scroll over the photos for more information

Taste of the Nation

Just a reminder that I'll be participating in the Share Our Strength - Taste of the Nation event at Harry's Savoy Grill this Thursday night.  I'll be one of the featured chef's for the VIP reception.  Attendees of Taste of the Nation Wilmington will enjoy a multi-course sit down food and wine pairing featuring courses prepared by guest chefs from across the country. Each course is paired with a specially-selected wine poured by guest sommeliers. St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is this Sunday, but we'll be featuring our Emerald Isle inspired additions to the menu all weekend.  Potato soup, "Dublin Lawyer," and the Irish-American classic Corned Beef & Cabbage are a few of the highlights.  And for my fellow turophiles, we'll also be featuring an all Irish cheese plate.  The complete menu can be found on the Upcoming Events page.  Hope to see you out at the club!

As of Tuesday, February 5th we are open for business.  Come check out the new menu.  You can take a look at it on the website as well.  You'll find a link on the left hand side under the Cuisine heading.  Next week we'll be featuring some cajun and creole additions to the menu on Fat Tuesday and our four course Valentine's Day menu on Thursday the 14th.  Both menus can be found in the Upcoming Events section.  Also, don't forget to follow us on Twitter @fieldstonefnb for information on daily lunch and dinner specials.

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!  A sell out crowd enjoyed live music and great dinner specials as well welcomed in the new year at the club.

Remember the clubhouse and all golf facilities will be closed starting January 14th and will reopen February 5th.

Keep an eye out for our Mardi Gras dinner specials and Valentine's Day menu coming soon to the Upcoming Events page.  We'll also have plenty of new items on the menu when we reopen, so make sure to come out and enjoy some of your favorites before they're gone for the season!
