halfway house

I'm sure many of you have noticed the halfway house upgrades completed during the off-season, but incase you have yet to visit it here are a few of the highlights:

• all new bathroom fixtures
• new lighting
• new countertop
• new cabinets
• ice dispenser
• sliding door refrigerator
• new windows and door

With the addition of a reach in refrigerator we will be able to provide some added food options and a much cleaner and organized presentation of the beverage selections.  You may have noticed deli sandwiches and whole fruit being available, and we will now have 1/2 sandwiches as an option as well. 

Hopefully you'll have a chance take advantage of these upgrades soon.  Be sure to let us know if you think any other items would work particularly well in the newly available space.

cinco de mayo

Come join us tomorrow night for our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration!  We will be featuring a variety of Mexican appetizers, entrees and drink specials in addition to our regular menu.  A full description of the specials can be found in the upcoming events section.  Be sure to call ahead, as this is always a popular event and seating will be limited.

(while sometimes mistakenly reffered to as Mexico's "Independance Day," the holiday which has basically been co-opted by alcohol companies and turned into an American drinking tradition, actually celebrates the 1862 Battle of Puebla, in which outnumbered Mexican forces defeated the invading French army.)
